Lestat knew the good times were over. He ruined that by giving in. NO matter how fun it had been, he knew Louis shouldn't have been kept in the dark, nor should it have ever happened. Still, he was not the type to sulk, he had no time to be down.
So, he dolled himself, made sure he looked and smelled immaculate. Finally as he made his way from the room, figuring he would not see Louis after the night before or be spoken to for days he was shocked when Louis stepped out. The shock showed on his face for a moment or so.
